Tangled Web – Online Safety Performance for KS2

Start date:

Tangled Web focuses on online safety and responsibility, helping children stay safe and make positive and healthy choices.

The play is the perfect way to complement work around Safer Internet day.  It’s a 45 minute performance with a free workshop and resource pack.

The performance can be watched by everyone in Key Stage 2, and takes place in your school hall.  Following the performance we offer 1, 2 or 4 workshops as well as a resource pack full of ideas to try back in class.

The play follows 3 characters – Lily, Jay and Brodie – who find themselves in a mysterious room at the Laboratory for Internet Safety and Advice.   Each has done ‘something wrong’ online and they must work together to work out how to solve their problems.  The script covers Instagram, Snapchat, Tiktok, Whatsapp and gaming, as well as exploring online bullying, catfishing and sharing too much information online.  This is all done in an age appropriate way that is relevant to the children and their online lives.

“Excellent, relevant, entertaining. The children really took in the important message and felt that performers understood them, rather than preaching internet safety. 10/10.” King David Primary

Presented by professional actor educators who are all DBS checked.
