Residents Reach Out
Start date: –
A new and exciting programme of free weekly creative workshops, mentoring and community engagement. Residents Reach Out will use the arts as a medium to improve personal wellbeing and positive community spirit in response to the COVID 19 pandemic. The project will culminate in a celebratory sharing of the work produced, which the young people themselves will organise. This is likely to be online following current guidelines.
The project will be led by experienced community arts facilitators – who will work with participants to encourage better connection between young people and their wider local community, build confidence, develop skills in drama, art, events planning etc. – alongside this it will be an opportunity to have fun!
The project is open to any young person (12+) in Merseyside who would like to get involved – no previous experience/knowledge is required. Due to workshops having to run online, internet access will be very helpful (if this is not possible there are other ways to get involved).
