Liverpool Biennial: Educator’s Private View of The Stomach and The Port 2021

Liverpool Biennial is delighted to be hosting two Educators CPD Private Views on 25 March and 14 April to celebrate the launch of the first ‘outside’ chapter of The Stomach and The Port.

The ‘outside’ chapter brings together elements of the Biennial that highlight the exterior notion of the port, including a major new series of outdoor sculpture, sonic and digital commissions, alongside the new Biennial Online Portal.

Liverpool Biennial’s Learning Programme will be hosted on the Biennial Online Portal. We are thrilled to invite educators in the region to celebrate our opening and share information on our free Learning projects and resources which can be accessed on the Channel.

The Educators Private Views will feature:

  • Introductions from Manuela Moscoso, Curator of Liverpool Biennial 2021
  • Jasmine Bertie, Learning Producer, and Claire Henderson, Learning Assistant
  • Free Biennial goody-bags for the first 50 sign-ups, supported by Cass Art (Must be in the Liverpool City Region or North West area)
  • Information on how to sign up your class, school, and community group with free workshops and resources to support your learning activities and connect with the international contemporary art practices presented in The Stomach and The Port.

Liverpool Biennial 2021: The Stomach and the Port opens from 20 March. To align with government guidelines, the second ‘inside’ chapter will launch the full festival of exhibitions and events hosted by key venues throughout Liverpool in late Spring.
