Imaginative Adventures Workshop

This video workshop from The Bookworm Players will take you on an imaginative adventure using inspiration from Smriti Hall’s book ‘Rain Before Rainbows’. (You do not need to have read the book in order to do the workshop.)

We will look at how to create our own unique escapes using just our imagination, with a focus on understanding our feelings and an emphasis on hope. Pupils will join in with actions and a range of drama techniques, including visualisation and breathing exercises, to relax and imagine an amazing adventure.

The workshop includes a written resource to accompany it with further activities that relate to the themes. To access this, and explore many more resources, please go to the Liverpool Children’s Festival of Reading: Cultural Programme Padlet. Just scroll across to find this resource.
