Comics Youth Saturday Drop-in

Write and illustrate your own mini-comic book in this drop-in workshop using the graphic arts techniques of character design, framing, lettering, and inking. Invent a character, improvise a story, draw a series of pictures, and there you have an instant comic book! Finished artwork is suitable for photocopy reproduction to share or trade with friends. No drawing experience necessary. Open to ages 7 and up, accessible to any level of drawing skills. This session is aimed to support marginalised young people including LGBTQIA, SEND and young people experiencing mental ill-health (such as depression/anxiety).

Our office offers an inclusive Comic Book and Manga Library, chill out space and Nintendo Switch. All art materials are provided.
