Here at Movema we strive to positively promote cultures from around the world. We are delighted to offer our workshop celebrating Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rat. This will include:

  • A cultural presentation
  • A storytelling session
  • Games and fun activities
  • A unique Chinese dance performance for the whole school
  • Learn cultural music
  • Traditional costume dress up
  • An interactive workshop with props, music and traditional dress

The workshop blends both traditional and contemporary dance in one unique performance introducing students to a new culture through an extraordinary art piece.

Young people will gain an insight into a different culture and its traditions and practices. The session will allow creativity and self-expression, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle. It will be an essential part of students well-being and personal development.
